Quick Service Software Inc. was founded in January 2000.The company and its primary software package, Clearview, were created to fill a void of a product that could utilize cash register information in an efficient and useful manner.

Initially, the Clearview concept was developed to interface with the Panasonic cash register.This was the basis behind the stand alone local version of Clearview.When demand began to grow, Quick Service Software broadened its horizons and developed a more advanced internet-based software package, that was able to interface with multiple cash register types and multiple franchise types.Clearview ASP was developed and distributed in September 2001.
