What are combination menu items are how are they identified?

A combination menu item is a menu item comprising of multiple items, and each of those items is also sold as individual menu items.

EXAMPLE

A burger, fries and drink may be sold as three individual menu items in your organization and also a combo (combination menu item) where the three items are sold together as one menu item.

CLEARVIEW automatically identifies combination menu items that exist in CLEARVIEW based on the recipes mapped to them.

If the recipe mapped to a menu item contains more than one sub-recipe A recipe that's also included as an element in another recipe., and the sub-recipes are also directly mapped to other menu items, CLEARVIEW will assume that the first menu item is a combination menu item.

EXAMPLE

Recipe A is mapped to Menu Item X, Recipe B is mapped to Menu Item Y and Recipe C is mapped to Menu Item Z, and Recipe A includes Recipe B and Recipe C as elements, CLEARVIEW will assume that Menu Item X is a combination menu item.
