Difficulty Level - Intermediate Impact - Organization Level

The Accounting Package settings allow you to select the accounting package used by your organization so that files exported from CLEARVIEW are in a format that can be read by your accounting package.

To access Accounting Package settings:

  1. Click on on the quick links Located at the top right corner of a page, it contains icons that allow you to quickly access important pages. bar from any page.

  2. In the Settings window:

    Settings associated to a page automatically show in the List box. If the setting that you want to access is in the List box, you can skip step a.

    1. Select Financial from the Filter drop-down list.

    2. Click on Accounting Package from the List box in the left pane.

To indicate the accounting package used by your store:

  1. Go to Accounting Package settings.

  2. Select the Accounting Package used by your organization from the drop-down list.

    The following packages are supported for export in CLEARVIEW:

    • ACCPAC for Windows

    • Adagio

    • M.Y.O.B.

    • Quickbooks

    • Quickbooks 2008

    • Simply Accounting PRO 2004

    • Simply Accounting PRO 2005

    • Simply Accounting PRO 2008

    • Simply Accounting PRO 2012

    • Simply Accounting PRO 2013

  3. Enter the Source Ledger* code from the accounting package.

  4. Enter the Source Type* code from the accounting package.

  5. Enter the File Extension*.

  6. Click on the Update button.

  7. Click on the OK button in the confirmation pop-up box A box with a prompt that opens up when you click certain links or buttons in Clearview..

Once an Accounting Package is selected, you need to fill in the export parameters for each supplier and map the transaction items to your accounting package.

Click on the Audit button to see all changes made to the control(s) on the page. Changes that were made to the control(s) will be listed in a table.
