Employee Missed Shift Reasons controls the reasons that can be assigned to missed shift records for your organization.

To access Employee Missed Shift Reasons settings:

  1. Click on on the quick links Located at the top right corner of a page, it contains icons that allow you to quickly access important pages. bar from any page.

  2. In the Settings window:

    Settings associated to a page automatically show in the List box. If the setting that you want to access is in the List box, you can skip step a.

    1. Select Labour from the Filter drop-down list.

    2. Click on Employee Missed Shift Reasons from the List box in the left pane.

The following information is displayed on the settings page:

  • Description: The reason for missing the shift.

  • Status: Active indicates that the reason is presently available as an option in the Missed Shift Reason drop-down list on the Daily Missed Shifts page, while Inactive indicates that it's not available in the drop-down list at present.

ClosedCreate a New Missed Shift Reason

  1. Go to Employee Missed Shift Reasons settings.

  2. Click on the Create button.

  3. In the Create Missed Shift Reason window:

    1. Enter the reason for missing a shift in Description.

    2. Set the Status to Active if you want the missed shift reason to be usable immediately or Inactive if the reason will not be used at present.

    3. Click on the Create button.

ClosedEdit a Missed Shift Reason

  1. Go to Employee Missed Shift Reasons settings.

  2. Click on the name of the missed shift reason that you want to edit.

  3. In the Update Missed Shift Reason window:

    1. Change the details as required.

    2. Click on the Update button.

You can retain a missed shift reason but deactivate it, if you don't intend to use it at present, by changing the Status to Inactive. You can similarly reactivate it by changing the Status to Active again when you need it.

ClosedDelete a Missed Shift Reason

  1. Go to Employee Missed Shift Reasons settings.

  2. Click on the name of the missed shift reason that you want to delete.

  3. In the Update Missed Shift Reason window:

    1. Click on the Delete button.

    2. Click on the OK button in the confirmation request pop-up box A box with a prompt that opens up when you click certain links or buttons in Clearview..

Only missed shift reasons that haven't been used in previous missed shifts records can be deleted.
