Difficulty Level - Intermediate Impact - Organization Level

Schedule - Reporting controls the settings used in schedule reports like Schedule Variance, and the stats in Schedule - New and Clearview Schedule.

To access Schedule - Reporting settings:

  1. Click on on the quick links Located at the top right corner of a page, it contains icons that allow you to quickly access important pages. bar from any page.

  2. In the Settings window:

    Settings associated to a page automatically show in the List box. If the setting that you want to access is in the List box, you can skip step a.

    1. Select Labour from the Filter drop-down list.

    2. Click on Schedule - Reporting from the List box in the left pane.

ClosedSchedule Reporting Parameters:

Unassigned shifts

  • Yes indicates that shifts created but not assigned to any employee are included in the total scheduled hours (Scheduled Hours, Total Hrs and SCH) included in reports.

  • No indicates that unassigned shifts aren't included in the total scheduled hours included in reports.

Show detailed view by default

  • Yes indicates that the Schedule Variance report opens in the detailed view (both in the Summary and Variance by Period tabs) by default.

  • No indicates that the Schedule Variance report opens in the summary view (both in the Summary and Variance by Period tabs) by default.

Variance Reporting start time

Indicates the start and end time for the Schedule Variance report.

ClosedVariance by Period Reporting Options:

Indicates the statistics included in the Variance by Period tab of the Schedule Variance report. A checkmark next to a comparative fields indicates that the field is included in the report.

Variance Hours

A checkmark indicates that the comparison field is included in the report.

  • Sched Vs. Ideal includes a field that displays the difference between the total scheduled hours and the total ideal hours, for each period.

  • Sched Vs. Worked includes a field that displays the difference between the total scheduled hours and the total worked hours, for each period.

  • Worked Vs. Ideal includes a field that displays the difference between the total worked hours and the total ideal hours, for each period.

Cumulative Variance Hours

A checkmark indicates that the comparison field is included in the report.

The fields under Cumulative Variance Hours are enabled only if the same field in Variance Hours is selected.

  • Sched Vs. Ideal includes a field that displays the cumulative difference between the total scheduled hours and the total ideal hours, for each period.

  • Sched Vs. Worked includes a field that displays the cumulative difference between the total scheduled hours and the total worked hours, for each period.

  • Worked Vs. Ideal includes a field that displays the cumulative difference between the total worked hours and the total ideal hours, for each period.

ClosedSchedule Variance "Summary" Reporting Options:

Unpaid break adjustment

  • Yes indicates that the total scheduled hours does not include unpaid breaks (i.e. the total scheduled hours is reduced by amount of unpaid break time recorded on time cards for the period). This prevents a cost discrepancy between the forecast and actual cost in the Summary tab of the Schedule Variance report.

  • No indicates that the total scheduled hours includes unpaid breaks and hence there could be a discrepancy between the forecast and actual cost in the Summary tab of the Schedule Variance report.

    The Unpaid break adjustment control only affects the Schedule Variance report and does not affect schedules generated.
