This page lists the number of transactions and the total value of the transactions for the time periods set. Should you find any errors in the information, you can correct the data manually or try importing the data once again. You can also export the data if required.

Changes made to records on this page reflect on the Hourly Labour Cost report.

The page begins with a filter Drop-down boxes that let you select from the options available. that you can use to select the Area*, Store and Date for which you'd like to view the sales broken down by time periods.

The following information is displayed on the page:

  • From: The start time of the period.

  • To: The end time of the period.

  • Transaction Count: The number of transactions recorded during the period.

  • Sales: The total amount of sales during the period.

  • Flags: Indicates actions performed on the sales records.

    • A: The record was adjusted - either on the POS or manually in CLEARVIEW.

Changes that were made to records can be audited by clicking on the Display Changes button.

TO EDIT PERIOD SALES RECORDS BY IMPORTING:

  • Information entered or changed on this page could affect other data stored and hence result in wrong reports. We highly recommend that you contact your CLEARVIEW Support Team and only make changes to these pages under their guidance.

  • We advise you back-up the existing period sales, by exporting it before importing a file, as you won't be able to retrieve the previous data once you import a file.

  1. Open the Missing Period Sales page.

  2. Select the Area*, Store and Date, for which you want to edit the records, from the drop-down lists.

  3. Click on the Go button.

  4. Click on the Import button.

  5. In the Hourly Sales Entry/Adjustment - Import window:

    1. Click on the Choose File button and select the file to import.

    2. Click on the Import File button.

    3. Click the OK button in the warning pop-up box A box with a prompt that opens up when you click certain links or buttons in Clearview..

  6. Click on the OK button in the confirmation pop-up box A box with a prompt that opens up when you click certain links or buttons in Clearview..

TO EDIT A PERIOD SALES RECORD MANUALLY:

Information entered or changed on this page could affect other data stored and hence result in wrong reports. We highly recommend that you contact your CLEARVIEW Support Team and only make changes to these pages under their guidance.

  1. Open the Missing Period Sales page.

  2. Select the Area*, Store and Date, for which you want to edit the record, from the drop-down lists.

  3. Click on the Go button.

  4. Make changes to the Transaction Count and/or Sales for the record(s).

  5. Click on the Update button.

To undo the last set of manual changes made to the records, click on the Undo Last Changes button.

TO EXPORT PERIOD SALES RECORDS:

Exporting the day's records before making changes or importing a file will ensure that you have a back-up should you need to revert to the previous data.

  1. Open the Missing Period Sales page.

  2. Select the Area*, Store and Date, for which you want to export the records, from the drop-down lists.

  3. Click on the Go button.

  4. Click on the Export button.

  5. In the Export File pop-up box A box with a prompt that opens up when you click certain links or buttons in Clearview.:

    1. Select the export format from the drop-down list.

    2. Click on the Export button.

  6. Save the file in a convenient location.

TO AUDIT PERIOD SALES RECORDS:

  1. Open the Missing Period Sales page.

  2. Select the Area*, Store and Date, for which you want to audit View a detailed list of changes made. the records, from the drop-down lists.

  3. Click on the Go button.

  4. Click on the Display Changes button. The changes made will be shown in the Details of Changes Performed window.

The absence of a Display Changes button and flags indicates that no changes were made to the records for that Date and Store.

  • Time Periods controls the set-up of time periods for your organization.

  • *optional section or field that may or may not be visible depending on the settings selected, whether the supplier is integrated or not, etc.
