ClosedWant to easily manage which CLEARVIEW functions different roles in your organization have access to?

Yes, CLEARVIEW has a lot of functions. Obviously, you don't want all your CLEARVIEW users to have access to it all. You may not want them to have access to some functions, or want to allow certain roles to only enter data, but not edit, etc. Creating security templates based on employee roles is the best way to manage CLEARVIEW access for your employees. It's a bit of work to set it up, but once you have your security templates created, all you need to do is assign it to employees. Have a new employee? You don't need to set the access level for each CLEARVIEW page for the employee. Simply assign the security template created for their role.

CLEARVIEW Module Required: Basic

Path to create security templates: Admin > Security Controls

Path to assign security templates to users: Admin > List All System Users (click on the User ID)

ClosedWondering how to ensure your users don't see pay related information on CLEARVIEW?

Set the Pay Rate Rules to Function Not Available for all users or security templates that you want to block access to pay information. You can also restrict the access to pay related information for the job codes you select only.

Setting the Pay Rate Rules to Function Not Available will also remove all references to Labour Cost and Labour Cost %, including, but not limited to:

  • Cash Sheet - Labour

  • Hourly Labour Cost

  • Executive Summary

  • Store Managers Summary

  • Schedule - New (Stats)

  • Schedule Variance

Path to edit access to users (if you don't use security templates): Admin > List All System Users (click on the User ID, then on the Labour tab in the Update User window)

ClosedDid you know that you can have separate count sheets for different parts of your store?

You can create custom inventory count sheets that follow the layout of your store. Create a count sheet for your counter, another for the pass, one for each freezer, or any other method you choose. Inventory items can be repeated on different count sheets, employees only need to enter the count of the inventory items at the location into the count sheet for that location, and CLEARVIEW will consolidate all the count sheets and give you a total count of each inventory item at your store.

CLEARVIEW Module Required: Inventory

Path to create count sheets: Settings > Inventory > Inventory Count Sheets

Path to create counts (fill in the count sheets): Inventory > Physical Counts > Create Count (select Custom from the Count Sheet Type drop-down list)
