Your User Profile is where you can change your basic information (name, email address, user interface language) and password, organize the pages you've marked as favourites, control what notifications you receive via email, and manage your subscriptions to different CLEARVIEW reports.

Your User Profile page can be opened by clicking on Profile on the quick links Located at the top right corner of a page, it contains icons that allow you to quickly access important pages. bar from any CLEARVIEW page.

ClosedBasic

The following information is displayed in the Basic tab on the page:

TO MODIFY YOUR BASIC INFORMATION:

  1. Open the User Profile window.

  2. Change your Last Name, if required.

  3. Change your First Name, if required.

  4. Change your Email Address, if required.

    Email addresses must be verified before the change is registered in CLEARVIEW. To verify your email address, CLEARVIEW will send an email to the new email address you enter, once you click on the Update button. Follow the instructions in the email to complete the process.

  5. Click on the Update button.

TO CHANGE YOUR CLEARVIEW PASSWORD:

  1. Open the User Profile window.

  2. Enter your current password in Old Password.

  3. Enter your New Password.

    The new password must adhere to the following conditions:

    • Must be at least 8 characters in length.

    • Must include a minimum of one uppercase letter and one lowercase letter.

    • Must include a minimum of one number (0 through 9).

    • Must include a minimum of one symbol (!,$,#,% etc.).

    • Must not contain your username.

    • Can't be the same as your old password.

  4. Re-enter your new password in Confirm New Password.

  5. Click on the Update button.

TO CHANGE YOUR CLEARVIEW INTERFACE LANGUAGE:

  1. Open the User Profile window.

  2. Select the language in which you want CLEARVIEW pages displayed from the Language drop-down list.

  3. Click on the Update button.

ClosedFavourites

The Favourites tab in the User Profile window lets you change the order in which your favourite pages are displayed under the Favourites label on the navigation bar as well as remove pages from your favourites list.

The following information is displayed in the Favourites tab on the page:

TO CHANGE THE ORDER IN WHICH YOUR FAVOURITE PAGES APPEAR:

  1. Open the Favourites tab.

  2. Click on Move Up in the last column, next to the page that you wish to move up in the sequence.

  3. Click on Move Down in the last column, next to the page that you wish to move down in the sequence.

  4. Click on the Update button.

TO REMOVE A PAGE FROM FAVOURITES

  1. Open the Favourites tab.

  2. Click on Delete in the last column, next to each of the pages that you would like to remove from Favourites.

  3. Click on the Update button.

  4. Click on the OK button in the confirmation request pop-up box A box with a prompt that opens up when you click certain links or buttons in Clearview..

ClosedNotifications

The Notifications tab controls which news postings you receive via email.

While all news postings are sent to your Message Center, you can also choose to receive certain news postings at your email address.

The following information is displayed in the Notifications tab on the page:

  • News Posting: A checkmark in this box indicates that news postings are being sent to your email address, while no checkmark indicates that it isn't.

    • All Postings: Indicates that all news postings are being sent to your email address.

    • Critical Only: Indicates that only news postings marked important by CLEARVIEW are being sent to your email address.

    • Relevant to Me: Indicates that only news postings regarding CLEARVIEW pages that you have access to are being sent to your email address.

    • Mark news as read automatically: A checkmark in this box indicates that news postings that are sent to your email address are marked as read automatically in the Message Center, while no checkmark indicates that it isn't.

  • Scheduled Maintenance: A checkmark in this box indicates that news postings regarding scheduled maintenance (that result in one or more CLEARVIEW pages being unavailable) are being sent to your email address, while no checkmark indicates that it isn't.

News postings are sent to the verified email address indicated in the Basic tab.

TO CHANGE WHICH NEWS POSTINGS YOU RECEIVE VIA EMAIL:

  1. Open the User Profile window.

  2. Click on the Notifications tab.

  3. Place a checkmark in the box next to News Posting to receive news postings via email.

    1. Select which news postings you want to receive via email from the drop-down list.

    2. Place a checkmark in the box next to Mark news as read automatically if you want the news postings emailed to you to be marked as read in the Message Center, or remove the checkmark from the box if you want them to remain as unread until you read them in the Message Center.

  4. Remove the checkmark from the box next to News Posting if you don't want to receive news postings via email.

  5. Place a checkmark in the box next to Scheduled Maintenance to receive news postings regarding scheduled maintenance via email, or remove the checkmark if you don't want to receive scheduled maintenance news postings via email.

  6. Click on the Save button.

  7. Click on the OK button in the confirmation pop-up box A box with a prompt that opens up when you click certain links or buttons in Clearview..

ClosedSubscriptions

A subscription is a feature available for some reports in CLEARVIEW, that automatically generates the report at the scheduled time, on the days selected, and then emailed to you. The Subscriptions tab lists all subscriptions to reports and lets you manage your subscriptions as well.

The Subscriptions page may be reached through:

  • The Subscribe action button next to a report.

    Only reports that can be subscribed to will have the Subscribe action button.

  • The Subscriptions tab in User Profile.

The subscriptions table displays the following information:

  • Report*: The name of the report subscribed to.

  • Email: The email address to which the subscribed reports will be sent.

    Click here to learn how to change your email address.

  • Report Type*: The name of the report subscribed to.

  • Store*: The store for which the subscription was created.

  • Report Period: The period for which the report is generated.

  • Run Frequency: How often the report will be generated and emailed to you.

  • Status: Whether the subscription is currently Active or has been disabled (Inactive).

  • Last Run: The last date and time Unless specified otherwise, the date and time will always show in the user's local time. at which the report was generated and emailed to you.

  • Next Run: The next scheduled run.

Clicking on the Report Period of a subscription will open the Update Subscription window in which you can view the details of the subscription.

TO VIEW THE DETAILS OF A SUBSCRIPTION:

  • METHOD 1 (through the report page):

    1. Click on the Subscribe action button above the report for which you want to view the subscription.

    2. In the Subscriptions window, click on the Report Period of the subscription that you want to view.

  • METHOD 2 (through the User Profile):

    1. Open the User Profile window.

    2. Click on the Subscriptions tab.

    3. Click on the Report Period of the subscription that you want to view.

TO CREATE A SUBSCRIPTION:

  • METHOD 1 (through the report page):

    1. Click on the Subscribe action button above the report for which you want to create the subscription.

    2. Click on the Create button in the Subscriptions window.

    3. In the Create Subscription window:

      1. Select the Report Parameters, that will be used to generate the subscription report, from the drop-down lists in the section.

      2. Select the time at which you want the report to be generated and emailed to you from the Run at drop-down lists.

      3. Select the Time zone at which you're located from the drop-down list.

      4. Select the date from which you want to start the subscription from the Effective drop-down calendar.

      5. Select how often you want the report generated and emailed to you from the Pattern drop-down list:

        • Daily: Select whether you want the subscription to run Every Weekday or enter how often you want it in Every __ day(s).

        • Weekly: Enter in the number of weeks between each report emailed to you in Recur every __ week(s) on and select the day(s) of the week on which you want to receive the report.

        • Monthly: Select whether you want the report emailed to you on a particular day or weekday, and enter the number of months interval between the reports.

      6. Click on the Create button.

  • METHOD 2 (through the User Profile):

    1. Open the User Profile window.

    2. Click on the Subscriptions tab.

    3. Click on the Create button.

    4. In the Create Subscription window:

      1. Select the Report that you want to subscribe to from the drop-down list.

      2. Select the Report Parameters, that will be used to generate the subscription report, from the drop-down lists in the section.

      3. Select the time at which you want the report to be generated and emailed to you from the Run at drop-down lists.

      4. Select the Time zone at which you're located from the drop-down list.

      5. Select the date from which you want to start the subscription from the Effective drop-down calendar.

      6. Select how often you want the report generated and emailed to you from the Pattern drop-down list:

TO EDIT A SUBSCRIPTION:

  • METHOD 1 (through the report page):

    1. Click on the Subscribe action button above the report for which you want to edit the subscription.

    2. In the Subscriptions window, click on the Report Period of the subscription that you want to edit.

    3. In the Update Subscription window:

      1. Make changes to the subscription as desired (see create a subscription for details if required).

      2. Click on the Update button.

  • METHOD 2 (through the User Profile):

    1. Open the User Profile window.

    2. Click on the Subscriptions tab.

    3. Click on the Report Period of the subscription that you want to edit.

    4. In the Update Subscription window:

      1. Make changes to the subscription as desired (see create a subscription for details if required).

      2. Click on the Update button.

TO DELETE A SUBSCRIPTION:

If you want to temporarily stop a subscription, instead of deleting and later creating it once more, you can change the Status to Inactive by editing it, and then reactivate it when required by changing the Status to Active once again.
