Difficulty Level - Intermediate Impact - Organization Level

The Time Card Pay by Piece Labels page lets you view and create tasks for which employees are paid by piece.

To access Time Card Pay by Piece Labels settings:

  1. Click on on the quick links Located at the top right corner of a page, it contains icons that allow you to quickly access important pages. bar from any page.

  2. In the Settings window:

    Settings associated to a page automatically show in the List box. If the setting that you want to access is in the List box, you can skip step a.

    1. Select Labour from the Filter drop-down list.

    2. Click on Time Card Pay by Piece Labels from the List box in the left pane.

The following information is displayed on the settings page:

  • Description: The name of the task that is paid by piece.

  • Status: Active indicates that the task is included in the Piece Type drop-down list when creating or editing a time card in Daily Time Cards, while Inactive indicates that it's not.

  1. Go to Time Card Pay by Piece Label settings.

  2. Click on the Create button.

  3. In the Create Piece Pay Label window:

    1. Enter the name of the task you want to create in Description.

    2. Set the Status to Active if you want the pay by piece label to be usable immediately or Inactive if the label will not be used at present.

    3. Click on the Create button.

ClosedEdit a Time Card Pay by Piece Label

  1. Go to Time Card Pay by Piece Label settings.

  2. Click on the name of the label that you want to edit.

  3. In the Update Piece Pay Label window:

    1. Change the details as required.

    2. Click on the Update button.

You can retain a label but deactivate it if you don't intend to use it at present by changing the Status to Inactive. You can similarly reactivate it by changing the Status to Active again when you need it.

  2. Click on the name of the label that you want to delete.

  3. Click on the Delete button in the Update Piece Pay Label window.
