Difficulty Level - Advanced Impact - Store Level

Inventory Item by Location is the where stores can indicate which items are carried by their store and which aren't. The list comprises of all the items marked as Active in the Inventory Items Master List. Items marked as Inventoried on the Inventory Item by Location page can be added to count sheets, transferred to/from other stores, etc.

To access Inventory Item by Location settings:

  1. Click on on the quick links Located at the top right corner of a page, it contains icons that allow you to quickly access important pages. bar from any page.

  2. In the Settings window:

    Settings associated to a page automatically show in the List box. If the setting that you want to access is in the List box, you can skip step a.

    1. Select Inventory from the Filter drop-down list.

    2. Click on Inventory Item by Location from the List box in the left pane.

The following information is displayed on the settings page for the Area* and Store selected using the filters Drop-down boxes that let you select from the options available. at the top of the page:

  • Inventoried: A checkmark in this column indicates the store currently carries the item.

  • Description:The name of the inventory item.

    Click on a Description to open the Inventory Item Information window for that item.

  • Sub-Category: The sub-category in which the inventory item is classified.

  • Current Product: The supplier product mapped to the inventory item.

Add or Remove an Inventory Item from a Store's Inventory List

  1. Go to Inventory Item by Location settings.

  2. Select the Area* and Store from the drop-down list.

  3. Select the Sub-Category and enter the Item Description to find a particular item(s) if required.

  4. Click on the Go button.

  5. Place a checkmark in the Inventoried column for each item that you want to include in your store's inventory.

  6. Remove the checkmark from the Inventoried column for each item that you want to remove from your store's inventory.

  7. Click on the Submit button.

  8. Click on the OK button in the confirmation pop-up box A box with a prompt that opens up when you click certain links or buttons in Clearview..

Inventoried items will automatically show up in the Master Count Sheet for the store. Items removed from inventory will automatically be removed from all the count sheets and will not be available to transfer on CLEARVIEW.
