Stock level assessment reports provide you with your current stock levels as well as the date by which you're expected to run out of stock.

There are two stock level assessment reports that can be generated:

  • Current Stock Level: Also known as theoretical on hand, it is the estimated current stock level of each item.

  • Stock Depletion Date: The date by which you're expected to run out of each inventory item.

These reports are based on the last physical count, sales, purchases, transfers and waste recorded since the last physical count.

Current Stock Level Report

TO GENERATE A CURRENT STOCK LEVEL REPORT:

  1. Open the Stock Level Assessment page.

  2. Select the Area*, Store and Supplier, for which you want to generate the report from the drop-down lists.

  3. Select Current Stock Levels from the Mode drop-down list.

  4. Select the Sub-Category if required.

  5. If you want to view the stock levels for today (updated up to the last transmission from your POS), place a checkmark in the box next to Use Live Sales for current stock levels*.

    If the Use Live Sales for current stock levels* option isn't available or is not turned on, the stock levels will be calculated as of the last end of day Completion of end of day tasks on the POS which results in EOD markers sent to Clearview..

  6. Click on the Go button.

  • Clicking on a Product Code in the report opens the Update Product Information page for the inventory item.

  • Clicking on an Inventory Item Description in the report opens the Inventory Item Information page for the inventory item.

  • Clicking on a Current Stock Level in the report displays the calculation of the current stock level for the inventory item.

Stock Depletion Date Report

The Stock Depletion Date provides you with two options based on which the calculation will be performed:

The theoretical usage calculations are used to calculate inventory item usage since the last physical count. For inventory items that are not tracked by the POS (for example, items that are not sold - like cleaning supplies) the usage is calculated based on historical usage trends and adjusted for the forecasted sales.

There are two prerequisites to generating a stock depletion date report:

TO GENERATE A STOCK DEPLETION DATE REPORT:

  1. Open the Stock Level Assessment page.

  2. Select the Area*, Store and Supplier, for which you want to generate the report from the drop-down lists.

  3. Select Stock Depletion Date from the Mode drop-down list.

  4. Select the Sub-Category and Products to Display from the drop-down lists if required.

  5. Select the Order Date, Delivery Date and Next Delivery Date from the respective drop-down lists if required.

    Selecting the dates will provide for a more accurate report.

  6. If you want to include the current days theoretical usage The estimated usage of an inventory item based on menu item sales, recipes mapped to the menu items, sales assumptions and waste recorded. (updated up to the last transmission from your POS), place a checkmark in the box next to Use Live Sales for current stock levels*.

    If the Use Live Sales for current stock levels* option isn't available or is not checked the stock levels will be calculated as of the last end of day Completion of end of day tasks on the POS which results in EOD markers sent to Clearview..

  7. Select the Stock Depletion Calculation Method from the drop-down list.

  8. Click on the Go button.
