Difficulty Level - Expert Impact - Store Level

The Inventory Items page lets you view the settings of each inventory item and modify it if required.

To access Inventory Items settings:

  1. Click on on the quick links Located at the top right corner of a page, it contains icons that allow you to quickly access important pages. bar from any page.

  2. In the Settings window:

    Settings associated to a page automatically show in the List box. If the setting that you want to access is in the List box, you can skip step a.

    1. Select Inventory from the Filter drop-down list.

    2. Click on Inventory Items from the List box in the left pane.

Users cannot create inventory items in Cleaview. Contact your CLEARVIEW Support Team for assistance in creating inventory items.

The following information is displayed on the settings page for the Area* and Store selected using the filters Drop-down boxes that let you select from the options available. at the top of the page:

The details of an inventory item can be found on the Inventory Item Information page.

ClosedView Details of an Inventory Item

  1. Go to Inventory Items settings.

  2. Select the Area* and Store from the drop-down list.

  3. Use the filters Drop-down boxes that let you select from the options available. to find a particular item(s) if required.

  4. Click on the Go button.

    • The basic details of the item(s) will be displayed in the table.

  5. Click on an Item Description to open the Inventory Item Information window and view all the details.

ClosedView which Menu Items, Recipes and Waste Categories include the Inventory Item

  1. Go to Inventory Items settings.

  2. Select the Area* and Store from the drop-down list.

  3. Use the filters Drop-down boxes that let you select from the options available. to find a particular item(s) if required.

  4. Click on the Go button.

  5. Click on the name of the item for which you want to see the menu items, recipes and waste categories that include it.

  6. Click on the View Details button in the Inventory Item Information window.

  7. Click on the name of a menu item, recipe or waste category on the Item Details page to view the break-up and other details.

ClosedEdit an Inventory Item

  1. Go to Inventory Items settings.

  2. Select the Area* and Store from the drop-down list.

  3. Use the filters Drop-down boxes that let you select from the options available. to find a particular item(s) if required.

  4. Click on the Go button.

  5. Click on the name of the item that you want to edit.

  6. In the Inventory Item Information window:

    1. Make changes to the details in the Basic Info tab if required.

    2. Click on the Update button if you made changes in the Basic Info tab.

    3. Click on the Store Info tab.

    4. Make changes to the details in the Store Info tab if required.

    5. Click on the Update button if you made changes in the Store Info tab.

    6. Click on the Close button or Close when done.

ClosedAudit an Inventory Item

  1. Go to Inventory Items settings.

  2. Select the Area* and Store from the drop-down list.

  3. Use the filters Drop-down boxes that let you select from the options available. to find a particular item(s) if required.

  4. Click on the Go button.

  5. Click on the name of the item that you want to edit.

  6. Click on the Audit History tab in the Inventory Item Information window.
